I just wanted to share a Scripture with you that our church and team have been going through the last few week and hope that it can be just as encouraging to you as it has been to us!
O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
2 You know my sitting down and my rising up;
You understand my thought afar off.
3 You comprehend my path and my lying down,
And are acquainted with all my ways.
4 For there is not a word on my tongue,
But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.
5 You have hedged me behind and before,
And laid Your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
It is high, I cannot attain it...
How amazing is it that God knows and understands everything about us. Yet, we still tend to have our hearts swayed by people and circumstances rather than resting in the confidence of the One who knows everything about us... Let me ask you a question, what would your life look like if you walked out every day with the confidence of knowing that God KNOWS you, UNDERSTANDS you, and LOVES you? Different, right?
It's easy to get drowned in the lies that the enemy throws at yoy the things that people say about us, the circumstances that surround our lives, but here's a great reminder, "David was the apple of God's eyes and still a murderer. David was the King of Israel, God's chosen people and an adulterer. David wrote songs still being sung for almost 4000 years and was a liar. David restored his people to God, brought back the Ark of the Covenant and yet was a very broken man. God loves the broken. He loves us. He loves me. He loves you. Unconditionally." -Randy Alward
Despite what your situation looks like, what people may have said, what insecurities you have, remember, God KNOWS you, UNDERSTANDS you and LOVES you. So here's my challenge to you, read the rest of the chapter and then ask yourself what areas in your life do you need a God-Perspective in? And then pray and declare this Scripture over your life daily!
Try it, see what happens when you begin to walk through life knowing how God feels about you!
