Generation Unleashed, the largest regional youth conference in the country, presents their sophomore live worship project, Saving Power. Saving Power was recorded for the upcoming annual Generation Unleashed conference where more than 8,000 youth, ages 12 – 24, will gather from around the nation to hear motivational speakers and attend workshops that equip them for their future. With a 26-member worship band and choir made up of approximately 100 teenagers and young adults, those on the Generation Unleashed worship team are all members of Generation Church, the youth ministry stemming out of City Bible Church, and the fuel behind the conferences. Sonically, the guitar-driven group, often compared to Hillsong's United, is known for their passionate songwriting, intimate worship moments and loud musical stylings. The motive and purpose of Generation Unleashed is three-part. The first goal is to build strong youth ministries in America and especially in the Northwest. It is also their vision and passion to train and equip youth pastors and leaders and see that they leave the conference with fresh vision and momentum for their youth ministry. The third part of their vision is to provide a fresh new sound of worship that takes this generation closer to the heart of God.
